“Rethinking plant systems for the future”
organized by the Slovenian Society of Plant Biology at the Hotel Habakuk in Maribor, Slovenia from 17–18 September 2026.
The scientific programme will include invited lectures, oral and poster presentations and break-out groups. The official language will be English.
The main topics of the conference will cover various aspects of plant biology with a special focus on plant interactions with microorganisms and environment, intertwining with the recently established Slovenian microbiome network. During the conference there will ample opportunity to network, particularly between Slovenia-based researchers to foster old and establish new collaborations.
