History

The Slovenian Society of Plant Physiology (DRFS) was founded in 1982. Until 1991 it was a part of The Yugoslavian Society of Plant Physiology, since then it is autonomous. In 1992 it joined to Federation of European Societies of Plant Physiology (FESPP) as a full member. Slovenian Society of Plant Physiology is a scientific and expert association, with members coming from different research fields, biology, agronomy, forest science, chemistry, pharmacy, etc. The main research activities of the members are studies of physiological processes in plants and studies of plant-environment interactions.
